If the valve isn’t tight enough, air will leak out of the Lay-Z-Spa liner or SUP.. . . . The wrench is the only way to ensure the air valve is tight enough to stop air escaping. It also enables you to remove the air valve once it has been tightened, a task that is impossible to do with your hands alone.
